Mount Sinai & St Catherine Excursion Over Day Tour with Sharmers

Now this excursion is not for the faint of heart as you walk 2285 m to reach the top of Moses Mountain with your group, your Bedouin guide will give you a torch and once you’re there you get to see most magical sunrise ever, watch the burning bush and enjoy your tour inside the Monastery of St. Catherine, have breakfast in one of St. Catherine’s city restaurants before heading back to Sharm El Sheikh.

Excursion itinerary

Pick up from your hotel (around around 23:00 pm depends on the Hotel location in Sharm) to drive two and a half hours to get to Moses Mountain.
Climbing the Mountain the biggest mountain in relation to others surrounding it, now you will climb the mountain along with your Bedouin guide and the rest of the group, you are expected to get to the peak of the mountain at , 2:30 am then wait there till the sunrise, it’s a lot of fun having other guests to accompany you.
St. Catherine In the morning, the group we will have a short visit to the monastery, your English speaking guide will take good care of you and will explain everything there is to know as well as covering the highlights, he will also give you a free time where you can take some pictures, there will be also a short visit to the burning bush, the church of transfiguration, Moses well and the museum.
Breakfast now breakfast comes right on time after lots of climbing and walking, also the guide will be with you all the way in case you need something, breakfast are served in one of the hotels near the monastery.
Drive back to Sharm El Sheikh By the end of the day, you’ll be escorted back to Sharm El-Sheikh enjoying the nature of the Sinai desert all the way down to your hotel.
